Terms of Use
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms apply when you use Bicker (“the app”), a free tool for helping a group decide what to watch. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
What Bicker is
Bicker lets a group swipe through film and TV suggestions, find titles everyone likes, and pick one. It shows you information about titles, including which streaming services list them. It is a decision-making tool: it does not host, stream, or provide any films or TV shows, and it is not affiliated with any streaming service.
No account, and what that means
The app does not require an account. Your device holds an anonymous ID, and anyone with a room’s six-character code can join that room. Treat room codes as you would any link you share: only give them to people you want in the room. Rooms stop accepting activity 24 hours after creation, or when the host closes them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the app unlawfully, or to harass or harm anyone;
- enter room names or other text that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing;
- attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its infrastructure;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the app.
We may close rooms or block access if the app is being misused, or if doing so is necessary to keep the service running.
Film and TV information
Information about titles, including posters, descriptions, ratings, and streaming availability, comes from third parties and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Availability in particular changes frequently and varies by country. Always check the relevant streaming service before relying on it.
Title information and images remain the property of their respective owners. Bicker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any streaming service. See About & Credits for data sources and attribution.
Availability
The app is provided free of charge and on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change or discontinue it, or delete room data, at any time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including any decision made using it or any reliance on the information it shows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what the app stores and why. It forms part of these terms.
Changes
These terms may change; the “last updated” date above will change with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
